The Shrimp Drop Branding

The Shrimp Drop is a conceptual restaurant inspired by the coastal flavors of my family’s hometown, Amelia Island, Florida. This branding project encapsulates the essence of fast-casual seafood dining with a touch of island charm. The name comes from the island’s tradition of dropping a large shrimp every year for New Year’s Eve rather than a ball, honoring their legacy of being a hub for the shrimping industry.

The aim of this project was to create a cohesive visual identity, bringing the relaxed experience of the Florida coast’s dining to the Midwest. The project began with a logo and style guide, then moved on restaurant interior imagingings, menu design, merchandise, and social media branding. Discover how the Shrimp Drop brings a taste of Amelia Island to life through design and storytelling.
