Cin Cin! is a party planning app that helps friend groups easily decide on the perfect gathering theme. By collecting everyone’s preferences through a quick, fun survey, Cin Cin! suggests curated themes complete with a Pinterest board full of menu ideas, decor, music, outfits, and more. It takes the stress out of planning and turns it into something collaborative, creative, and fun — so every get-together feels effortless and everyone feels included.
Recommender Systems
Cin Cin! uses a collaborative filtering recommender system to simplify group event planning. Each participant completes a brief survey capturing preferences on themes, food, drinks, decor, and more. The system analyzes responses to identify shared interests across the group and suggests the most compatible party theme. Final recommendations are displayed as curated Pinterest boards, allowing users to easily visualize and personalize the experience. This explicit, survey-based data collection method ensures accurate and relevant suggestions for small to mid-sized friend groups organizing events, parties, and get-togethers.
